message-digest-key keyid md5 [key | hash-key] [hash]

Description
This command configures a message digest key when MD5 authentication is enabled on the interface,
virtual-link or sham-link. Multiple message digest keys can be configured.
Note that this command is not valid in the OSPF3 context.
The no form of the command removes the message digest key identified by the key-id.
Default
No message digest keys are defined.
Parameters
keyid — The keyid is expressed as a decimal integer.
md5 key — The MD5 key. The key can be any alphanumeric string up to 16 characters in length.
md5 hash-key — The MD5 hash key. The key can be any combination of ASCII characters up to 32
hash — Specifies the key is entered in an encrypted form. If the hash parameter is not used, the key

improve adjacency forming and network convergence, a network should be configured as point-
to-point if only two routers are connected, even if the network is a broadcast media such as
Ethernet.
Values

unencrypted key value is not provided.
