20. Remove the collar from the alternator (Fig. 0192).
21. To service the alternator, refer to "Alternator
Assembly Teardown" on page 4-153 (Fig. 0193).

Alternator Installation

1. Slide the collar into the mounting flange on the
alternator (Fig. 0194).
2. Position the alternator up to the engine block (Fig.
0195).
