Rotor

1. Measure the resistance across the slip rings with the
resistance range on a circuit tester (Fig. 0687).

2. If the resistance is not 2.9 ohms, replace the rotor.
3. Check the continuity across the slip ring and the
core with the resistance range on a circuit tester
(Fig. 0688).
4. If infinity is not indicated, replace the rotor.
