Changing the Hydraulic Fluid

Change the hydraulic fluid every 400 operating hours or
yearly.
Note: The hydraulic filter should be replaced when-
ever the hydraulic oil is changed.
1. Position the traction unit on a level surface and open
the hood.
2. Raise the loader arm, install the cylinder lock, stop
the engine, and remove the key.
3. Allow the traction unit to cool completely.
4. Place a large drain pan (capable of holding 15
gallons) under the drain plug on the front of the
traction unit (Fig. 0010).

5. Remove the LH side grill.
6. Clean the area around the filler neck of the hydraulic
tank. Remove the hydraulic tank cap and dipstick
(Fig. 0011 and Fig. 0012).
