To load a configuration file to the VoIP gateway, take these 8
steps:
1.
Open the 'Regional Settings' screen (Advanced Configuration menu > Regional
Settings); the 'Regional Settings' screen is displayed (shown in

Click the Browse button adjacent to the file you want to load.

Navigate to the folder that contains the file you want to load.
4.
Select the file, and then click the Open button; the name and path of the file appear in
the field beside the Browse button.
5.
Click the Send File button that is next to the field that contains the name of the file you
want to load. An exclamation mark in the screen section indicates that the file's
loading doesn't take effect on-the-fly (e.g., CPT file).
6.
Repeat steps 2 to 5 for each file you want to load.
7.
To save the loaded auxiliary files so they are available after a power fail, refer to
Section
8.
To reset the Mediant 1000, refer to Section

Configuring the Web User Accounts

To prevent unauthorized access to the Embedded Web Server, two user accounts are
available, a primary and secondary. Each account is composed of three attributes:
username, password and access level. For detailed information on the user account
mechanism, refer to Section
It is recommended that you change the default username and password of the account you
use to access the Embedded Web Server.

Saving a configuration file to flash memory may disrupt traffic on the
Mediant 1000. To avoid this, disable all traffic on the gateway before
saving to flash memory by performing a graceful lock (refer to Section
