Stacker full sensor (SFS), Elevator down sensor (EDS)

These are also photo–interrupter sensors, both used for detecting the position of the
elevator table. The stacker full sensor indicates that the amount of folded paper has
reached the limit. The elevator down sensor indicates that the elevator which has
begun its way down has reached the down position (the position where the operator
removes the paper).

To operate the stacker in a paper mode which will handle heavier paper stock, press
the button on the back of the stacker. ON equals "Heavy Mode" (LED is lit); OFF
equals "No Heavy Mode" (LED is not lit).
In "Heavy Mode", the maximum stack height following a cut or page eject depends
on the page length, as shown in the following table.
NOTE: If fanfold paper is stacked without performing a cut, the maximum stack
height is the same as normal mode (8.66 inches).
