Image Processing Designated Areas

(AREA DESIG.)

This mode allows you to designate rectangular areas from images in the original by using the Number
keys, and process these areas as follows.
FRAMING
Makes copies of only the inside of a designated area on the original.
Designated area
BLANKING
Makes copies of only the outside of a designated area on the original, that is, with the area outside
the designated area "blanked."
Designated area
NEGA/POSI
Makes copies of a designated area on the original with the original image inverted.
