How Originals Feed Through the RDF
(when making copies of one side of the original)
Neatly stack your originals face up in the original tray.
Originals are fed from the lowermost original to the platen
glass.
When the original is placed on the platen glass, the original is
scanned by the light source in the moving scanning unit.
The next original (2) is fed to the platen glass.
The first scanned original (3) is returned to the original supply
tray.
All originals that were placed in the RDF are output to the
original supply tray.
