Finish

1. Close the library's front door and lock it with the library key.
2. On the front of the library, press the soft power switch until the blue light comes
on and the power-on sequence begins.
The power-on sequence takes about five minutes, while the library initializes all
components. The library is ready once the LC activates on the front panel.
3. Log in to the LC.
4. Use the toolbar to select General > Inventory. The Inventory screen appears
(Figure 7-34).

5. Move a tape to test the newly installed robotics.
6. When the move completes, move the tape back to its original location or use
your backup software to re-inventory the library.
Note:
If the library experiences any problems during the move cycle,
contact Spectra Logic Technical Support.
7. Use your backup software to restart backups running to the library.
8. Package the robotics assembly and return it to Spectra Logic for inspection.
