Locating the Malfunctioning Power Supply

If you only have one power supply installed, proceed to Replacing the 5V/12V Power
Supply on page 17.
If you have both power supplies installed, follow these steps to tell which power
supply is malfunctioning.
1. Go to the rear of the library.
2. Locate the 5V/12V power supplies; see Component Location on page 7.
3. Check the power supply LEDs, as shown in Figure 5-2.

4. Locate the power supply on which the DC Output LED is off.

DC Output
Solid green during normal operation.
Off (unlit) if the power supply is malfunctioning.
AC Input
Solid green during normal operation.
Off (unlit) if the power supply is malfunctioning.
