6. With the VAX correctly aligned, move the coupler. To do this, use a 3/32 Allen
wrench to loosen the single screw holding the coupler on the top HAX rod, then
position the coupler so that the top two screws attach the top portion of the
coupler to the upper HAX rod, and the bottom two screws attach the bottom
portion of the coupler to the lower HAX rod. Tighten the screws, making sure
that the coupler does not sit on the HAX belt pulley. The correct coupler
position is shown in Figure 7-32.

7. Rotate the belt pulley, moving the assembly back a few inches. This provides
access to the motor control cable.
8. Connect the motor control cable to the connector on the motor control board.
