8. Loosen the captive screw and two quarter-turn screws that attach the robotic
assembly base to the library chassis.
Pulling out the Robotic Assembly
1. Have another person hold the motor control cable up from the base and out of
the way, as shown in Figure 7-13.
Caution:
Protect the motor control and ribbon cables when you remove
the robotic assembly, to avoid damaging the cables.
2. Use both hands to gently tug the unit just until it is free from the library, so that
you can easily slide it out.
3. Pull the assembly out carefully and use one hand to position the ribbon cable so
that it can slide under the plate.
