Obtaining DVMRP Routing Information
Obtain DVMRP routing information if you want details about the multicast routes
DVMRP uses instead of unicast routes. This routing information includes such things as
the identity of a route's source and upstream neighbor, the route's hop count, and an
indication of how long ago the SSR learned of the route.
To access DVMRP routing information:
1.
If you are not in the Front Panel view, switch to it by clicking the CoreWatch main
window.
2.
Select the Monitor menu, choose Routing State, choose DVMRP State, and then
choose DVMRP Route Table.
A DVMRP Routing table similar to the following appears:
