fcrBcastConfig

fcrBcastConfig
Displays or sets the broadcast frame forwarding option.
Synopsis
fcrbcastconfig --show
fcrbcastconfig --enable -f fabric id
fcrbcastconfig --disable -f fabric id
fcrbcastconfig --help
Description
Use this command to enable or disable the broadcast frame option or to display the current
configuration. If no operands are specified, this command displays the usage. By default, frame
forward option is enabled. Use the --show option to display the current settings on the switch.
Note
The execution of this command is subject to Admin Domain restrictions that may be in place. Refer
to chapter 1, "Understanding Admin Domain Restrictions" and Appendix A, "Command Availability"
for details.
Operands
This command takes the following operands:
--show
--enable
--disable
--help
EXAMPLES
To display the current configuration:
To disable broadcast frame forwarding for FID 33, 28, and 2:
To display the new configuration:
To enable broadcast frame forwarding for FID 33:

Shows the current broadcast configuration as enabled or disabled. If
broadcast frame forwarding is disabled for selected FIDs, only the disabled
FIDs in the current configuration are displayed.
Enables the frame forwarding option for a specified fabric ID.
Disables the frame forwarding option for a specified fabric ID
-f fabric id
Specifies the fabric ID to be disabled/enabled. Valid values are 1-128. This
operand is required with the --enable and --disable options.
Displays the command usage.
fcr:admin> fcrbcastconfig --show
Broadcast configuration is enabled for all FID
fcr:admin> fcrbcastconfig --disable -f 33
fcr:admin> fcrbcastconfig --disable -f 28
fcr:admin> fcrbcastconfig --disable -f 2
fcr:admin> fcrbcastconfig --show
Broadcast configuration is disabled for FID:
2 33 128
fcr:admin> fcrbcastconfig --enable -f 33
