seconds — Time in seconds that the device waits for a response from the authentication
server. (Range: 1-65535 seconds)

The timeout period is 30 seconds.

The actual timeout can be determined by comparing the dot1x timeout server-timeout value
and the result of multiplying the radius-server retransmit value with the radius-server
timeout value and selecting the lower of the two values.
Examples
The following example sets the time for the retransmission of packets to the authentication
server to 3600 seconds.
Console(config-if)# dot1x timeout server-timeout 3600
show dot1x
The show dot1x Privileged EXEC mode command displays the 802.1X status of the device or
specified interface.
