ip https port

The ip https port Global Configuration mode command specifies the TCP port used by the
server to configure the device through the Web browser. To return to the default configuration,
use the no form of this command.
Syntax
ip https port port-number
no ip https port
port-number — Port number to be used by the HTTPS server. (Range: 1-65534)
Default Configuration
The default port number is 443.

User Guidelines
Specifying 0 as the port number effectively disables HTTPS access to the device.
Example
The following example configures the https port number to 100.
Console(config)# ip https port 100

crypto certificate generate

The crypto certificate generate Global Configuration mode command generates a self-signed
HTTPS certificate.
Syntax
crypto certificate [number] generate key-generate [length][cn common- name][ou
organization-unit][or organization] [loc location] [st state] [cu country] [duration days]
number — Specifies the certificate number. (Range: 1 - 2)
key-generate — Regenerate the SSL RSA key.
length — Specifies the SSL RSA key length. (Range: 512 - 2048)
common- name — Specifies the fully qualified URL or IP address of the device.
(Range: 1 - 64)
organization — Specifies the organization name. (Range: 1 - 64)
organization-unit — Specifies the organization-unit or department name.(Range: 1 - 64)
