Parameters
• : Click to this option disable the ES70 operation. Neither transmission nor
Inactive
reception will take place.
When the ES70 has been disabled using this function, it will stop. The current
echogram is removed from the screen.
• : Click this option to enter normal operational mode.
Normal
If you wish to establish a passive system (transmission switched off, but normal
reception), click the
→ Normal Operation on page 121.
• : Click to this option to choose playback mode.
Replay
In order to select which recording to play back, click

Purpose
The purpose of the
Ping

Description
The ES70 will during normal operation display the echo
signal received at the transducer. Using this
function, it may also be set up to play back a previously
recorded echo signal. If you do not wish to use the
echo sounder for a short period, you can set the ES70
to inactive. Click the middle of the button to open the
sub-menu.
