Echogram

Upper Echogram
echogram for the chosen channel.
By default, this is a surface echogram.

Lower Echogram
echogram for the chosen channel.
By default, this is a bottom echogram.
If you have selected only a small vertical range close to bottom, the histogram
may be empty. This because the fish volume is small due to the limited range
selected, and because the target strength algorithm must take into consideration
other bottom echoes than fish.

Zoom Echogram
zoomed area.
• : The large number above each histogram is the mean value from the
Mean value
tallest bar. The unit reflects the mode chosen in the

The information pane shows the position within the beam of the detected
Fish Position
single echoes for the current ping (largest circles) and the three previous ping (smaller
circles). The colours indicate the echo strength.
