IGMP immediate leave improves bandwidth management for all hosts in a
switched network.
Command Attributes
VLAN ID — ID of configured VLAN (1-4093)
Immediate Leave — Enable or disable IGMP immediate leave for
the selected VLAN.
Web – Click IGMP Snooping, IGMP Immediate Leave.
CLI – This example enables IGMP immediate leave for VLAN 1 and then
displays the current IGMP snooping status.
Console(config)#interface vlan 1
Console(config-if)#ip igmp snooping immediate-leave
Console(config-if)#end
Console#show ip igmp snooping
Service Status: Enabled
Querier Status: Disabled
Leave proxy status: Enabled
Query Count: 2
Query Interval: 125 sec
Query Max Response Time: 10 sec
Router Port Expire Time: 300 sec
