Printing UTF-8 Encoded Unicode Text
Normally, to print multinational characters on a printer, the

This parameter determines if a carriage return will be followed by a line feed.
Disable. The printer ignores all carriage returns that are not followed by line feeds.
Enable. The printer processes all carriage returns, even for those that are not

the host computer. If this feature is enabled, each time the printer receives a

rn, it inserts an additional Line Feed code (0A hex) into the d

CR = CR. Does not insert an extra line feed after each carriage return.
CR = CR + LF. Inserts an extra line feed after each carriage return. The next print position
will be print position 1 of the next line.
The factory default is CR = CR.
Define LF code
This parameter forces the printer to insert an automatic Carriage Return code into the data
stream whenever a Line Feed co e occurs. This can be used in most installations, but it is
req
uired if the host computer does not send carriage returns to the printer.
LF = LF. Does not perform an automatic carriage return. The next print position will be at the
current print character position on the next line.
LF = CR + LF. Performs an automatic carriage return. The next p
position 1 of the next line.
