Gas Compatibility Warning

This equipment is designed to meet requirements for Class I, Division 2, Groups ABCD,
or Non-Hazaradous areas only.
Refer to Section 501.4(b) of the NFPA No. 70 "National Electric Code" for proper wiring
connection to the service- and installation-accessible field terminals inside the enclosure
on the rear of the analyzer.
The customer supplied power cord used with the analyzer must be suitable for flexible
hazardous location connection. The mains plug must be of the locking and grounding
type.

The 5920 Analyzer is equipped with two (2) separate gas Purifiers which are
used to provide sources of dry reference gas in the analyzer. These Purifiers are
designed for use on specific sample gases. You must make sure that the Puri-
fiers installed in your analyzer are compatible with the sample gas that you are
running. Failure to adhere to this warning will result in erroneous results and
possible damage to the analyzer.
Save the original packaging received with this analyzer. It is an approved 4G
container in which you can ship the 5920 Analyzer with the Purifier installed.
Do not make or break the RS-232 connection unless the area is known to be
non-hazardous.
The external RS-485 communications circuits represent a non-incendive field
wiring connection. The maximum length of data cable to be used is 4000 feet
(1220 meters).
