Gas Connections

Install a main process shut-off valve and Pressure Regulator (recommended) at
the sample tap. Locate the analyzer as close as possible to the sample source.
To make the gas connections (refer to Figure 2-2):
1. Remove the VCR plugs and gaskets from the Sample Inlet fitting (Item 6)
2. Connect the sample input tube to the analyzer Sample Inlet 1/4 -inch VCR
3. Connect the exhaust tube to the analyzer Exhaust 1/4-inch VCR fitting
4. Connect a clean, dry instrument air supply (80 PSIG recommended) to the

The amount of time that the analyzer gas fittings are left open should
be kept to less than one (1) minute.
Refer to the "Special Warnings and Information" section in the begin-
ning of this manual for information on sample gas compatibility.

the analyzer or if it has to be disconnected for an extended period of time,
reinstall the caps using new gaskets.

The vent line must be at atmospheric pressure. Purge the sample line
with dry gas prior to installation, if possible.

air supply is questionable, connect using oil/air separators.
