Configuration
The following defines each selection.
"......" selection - allows the 1's density requirements to be established by the T1 or T1/D4 Piggy-
back Card installed on the Redundancy Control Plus module. The T1 and T1/D4 Piggyback Cards
contain option selection devices which allow the 1's density feature to be enabled or disabled.
0 selection - completely inhibits the 1's density feature. 48.0K selection - provides a 1's density
rate of 48 kbps. 96.0K selection - provides a 1's density rate of 96 kbps. 144.0K selection - pro-
vides a 1's density rate of 144 kbps. 192.0K selection - provides a 1's density rate of 192 kbps.
If "......" is selected with the T1 or T1/D4 Piggyback Card installed on the Redundancy Control
Plus Card and enabled, the 1's density rate displays as shown in the following example.

If "......" is selected without the T1 or T1/D4 Piggyback Card installed on the Redundancy Control
Plus Card, or if the T1 or T1/D4 card is disabled by the option selection device, then the 1's den-
sity rate displays as "DISABLED."
For any other rate except "0", the 1's density rate you have selected will display.
SELECTING CHANNEL PARAMETERS
Once the correct aggregate rate is entered, channel parameters must be entered or modified as re-
quired by the configuration. To select the channel parameters display (if it is not already on the
screen) select the Con-figuration routine from the Main Menu, select the appropriate Modify/
Display TDM Configuration routine from the Configuration Menu, and select the Modify Chan-
nel Parameters routine from the Modify/Display TDM Configuration menu. A Current Parame-
ters display similar to the one below is displayed.

You select channel parameters by specifying a channel number, entering the circuit (channel)
type and entering the appropriate parameters for the type of channel that you have specified. The
cursor position keys step you sequentially through each applicable parameter, and the status line
gives specific directions on the keys required to make each selection. The system only allows you
to pick parameters that are related to the circuit type (for example, data and stop bits can only be
selected for asynchronous channels). For that reason, the channel parameters other than channel
