and other keyboard symbols may also be used). The characters are not displayed as you type them.
When you have completed the entry of the password, press the Return key. The display responds:
REENTER
Enter the password again and press the Return key. If' you do not enter the; password correctly, the
display responds:

When the password is entered and verified correctly, the Main Menu returns.

RESET (DATE/TIME)

This routine enables you to set the proper time and date for the supervisory port CRT interface. This
routine should be performed when the system is initialized, or when a power failure deletes the pre-
vious setting. Correct time and date settings are essential for time-stamped alarm messages, and for
time-specific configuration activations.
To set the time and date, select the Set (Date/Time) routine from the Main Menu. The following
appears:
ENTER DATE (MM/DD/YY)
Using the numeric keys, enter the date in month/day/year format. You need not include slashes be-
tween the entries; the operating system enters them automatically, and the cursor skips over them.
To correct a mistake, continue entering the date; the cursor returns to the beginning of the entry.
When the data is entered, press the Return key. The display is replaced by:
ENTER TIME (HH:MM)
Using the numeric keys, enter the time in the same manner that the date is entered. The 24 hour
clock format must be used. When the time is entered, press the Return key. The Main Menu returns
to the screen, and the entered time and date are displayed on the status line.
