When an AUTO FRAME Plus module is placed out of service, it retains all alarm
messages in the alarm buffer.
TABLE 7-1. MEGAMUX PLUS ALARM MESSAGES
Description
A hardware failure has occurred on the T/R Logic module,
the Clock Generator module, or the Expansion module.
Indicates that Common Fault has been cleared.
The Redundancy Control module has switched the second-
ary T/R Logic module and Expansion module into operation
(the Clock Generator redundancy status is not reported by
any alarm message).
The Redundancy Control module has switched the primary
T/R Logic module and the Expansion module into operation
(the Clock Generator redundancy status is not reported by
any alarm message).
The T/R Logic module is unable to establish synchronization
with the opposite-end MEGAMUX PLUS unit.
The T/R Logic module has re-established synchronization
with the opposite-end MEGAMUX PLUS unit following an
OUT OF SYNC condition.
A hardware failure has occurred within the primary AUTO
FRAME Module.
A hardware failure has occurred within the secondary AUTO
FRAME module.
Indicates that a hardware failure within the primary AUTO
FRAME module has been corrected.
Indicates that a hardware failure within the secondary AUTO
FRAME module has been corrected.
Indicates that selected configuration has been activated.
Indicates that AUTO FRAME has dropped channels from the
activated configuration in order to frame the configuration.
The dropped channels will be out of service until another
configuration is activated.
The Redundancy Control module has switched the second-
ary AUTO FRAME module into operation.
The Redundancy Control module has switched the primary
AUTO FRAME module into operation.
Indicates power has been applied to the system.
The revision levels of AUTO FRAME software at each node
do not match; the difference is significant enough to cause
incompatibility problems in the system.
A previously reported software mismatch problem has been
corrected.
