A Digital Test may also be selected for a tandem channel; the loopback point may only be Node M
or Node S (there is no "through" selection to the far-end voice channel). The Rcv dB function may
be applied to the voice channel in the local MEGAMUX PLUS link (it may not be applied to the
far-end voice channel module).
Data Channel Links In a Multi-Link Tandem Arrangement
If a tandem voice arrangement is extended across several MEGAMUX PLUS links, there will be
MEGAMUX PLUS data channel links in the middle of the arrangement. These data channel links
are configured as voice channels, because they are part of the voice tandem arrangement. The only
tests allowed on these channels are:

These tests are limited to the local MEGAMUX PLUS link containing these channel modules. The
data origin and loopback point of these tests may be selected as Node M or Node S.
