Calibration of the Needle thread tension
Proper setting
The calibration is performed with the following thread: Serafil 30/3 black.
The measurement is taken with a thread scale (measuring range at least up
to 800 cN) without the thread tensioning spring (2) and without the needle
thread regulator (1).
The thread tension is set to 60 cN. The nuts are sealed with sealing wax.
To calibrate the needle thread tension:
1. Turn the thread lever to the topmost position.
2. Insert the needle thread and guide it up to the thread lever.
3. If necessary, fit the cap as far as it will go and tighten the screw of

4. Call up the Service > Calibration > Needle thread tension
5. Adjust the needle tension to 200 cN / 500 cN / 800 cN.
The thread tension is activated, and a tick indicator is shown
