The operator has to ensure that the machine is put into a safe operation mode after a

breakdown and that it must be started up again. This function is integrated in the
control unit Genius.
The operating manual of the complete vacuum system has to be followed.

4.1
The safety systems and safety instructions described in this handbook must be heeded
accordingly. The machine is operated from the control unit in combination with the GENIUS
controller, the CARRERA high voltage power supply and the overall plant.

Lighting. The operator must ensure that there is adequate
and uniform lighting in all areas of use of the electron beam
evaporator. The recommended illumination is 300 lx
(maintenance value; ASR 7/3 applies in Germany).
According to the occupational safety directive, the customer
must give safety instruction to his personnel at least once a
year.
