6.6 Weighbridge ZEUS

6.6.1 General Functioning

Before operating a road weigh bridge, make yourself familiar with the
general functioning of your DISOMAT.
The ZEUS road/rail weigh bridge is designed to determine and record the weights of
goods unloaded from or loaded onto trucks or wagons.
There are three ways of weight acquisition:
•
Two weighing operations, one performed on loaded, the other, on empty
vehicle (first / second weighing)
•
Weighing of loaded vehicle and comparison of weight with previously weighed
and permanently stored empty weight (weighing with fixed tare weight)
•
Weighing of loaded vehicle and comparison of weight with manually entered
empty weight (single weighing).

6.6.2 Activation

In contrast to other function variants, the road weigh bridge has to be activated before
using it for the first time.
Please do the following:
•
Key in a password in the menu tree such as the parameter password.
•
Call up item 5d (Option Management) in the SERVICE submenu.
•
Read out the given unit ID that gives you the activation code if you purchased
the ZEUS option. Please ask Schenck Sales.
•
Then key in the activation code in the same menu item.

6.6.3 Configuration

The ZEUS program is configured in menu item '574: Configuration'. The following is
set:
•
Vehicle text: you can use this text to query the vehicle numbers in operation.
'Motor Vehicle Number Plate' is preset.
•
Check wagon number: If you select 'Yes', the input will be interpreted as
wagon number and the check digit is checked. 'No' is preset.
•
Query text for sorts: you can use this text to query the sort number in
operation. 'Sort' is preset. If this text is deleted, the sort query no longer
applies.
Then the standard print forms should be loaded for the road weigh bridge in menu
item 468 .
