Function Description
5.4.1

Generating Setpoint Values

The setpoint value can be influenced by various functions:
By direct setpoint value specification (see section "Specifying Setpoint
Values"),
By activating the Jog mode or Tip mode (see the section "Functions"), and
Via the digital inputs.
The following function blocks can be used for this:
Ramp generator
Linearization
Valve adjustment
Nominal current
Dither generator

Explanation
Specification of the setpoint value for the ramp
generator in steps of 0.1% at INT16 in the
process image.
Generates a temporary control value from the
setpoint value. This value ensures that the
dynamics for increases and decreases in the
values correspond to the gradient of the
selected ramp.
This function block is used to compensate for
static nonlinearities within the connected
valve.
This function block is used to compensate for
design-related differences between the
magnets and the valve.
The absolute maximum value of the electrical
current output can be specified using this
function block.
Using this function block causes a reduction of
the influence of static friction.
