Connect Devices
Follow the power layout for the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750!
You will also need, in addition to these operating instructions, the instruction
manual for the fieldbus coupler/controller being used, which can be downloaded
at www.wago.com. This manual contains important information regarding:
electrical isolation, system power, and supply specifications, as well as other
necessary data.
Use shielded signal lines!
Only use shielded signal lines for output signals. Only then can you ensure that
the accuracy and interference immunity specified for the respective I/O module
can be achieved even in the presence of interference acting on the signal cable.
Connect the cable shield to the Function Earth (FE)!
Integrated shielding is mandatory to meet the technical specifications in regards
to measuring accuracy. Connect the cable shield and the function earth at the
inlet to the cabinet or housing. This allows induced interference to dissipate and
keeps it away from devices in the cabinet or housing.
Improve shielding performance by placing the shield over a large area!
Higher shielding performance is achieved when the connection between shield
and ground is low resistance. To achieve this, connect the shield over a large
surface area, for example, by using a WAGO shield connecting system.
