2.1.8 Automatic Call Charge Calculation
Description
The call charge is automatically calculated based on the external telephone number of the called party and
the duration of the call.
The calculated result is used for the following features. The timing of calculation is as follows. The
calculation is made according to the settings at that point.

Budget Management
Call Billing for Guest Room
ACD Report

The call charge rate can be set for each dial of pre-defined Dialing Plan.

Which table is applied from multiple Dialing Plan Tables is determined based on the settings of the Trunk
Group to which the external line used for the call belong.

Flat Charge: $2.00
Flat Charge Duration (s): 60 s
Unit Charge: $1.00
Unit Charge Duration (s): 30 s
When a call is made for 100 seconds with the settings above, 60 seconds + 30 seconds + 10 seconds =
$2.00 + $1.00 × 2 = $4.00

Flat Charge: $2.00
Flat Charge Duration (s): 60 s
Unit Charge: $0.00
Unit Charge Duration (s): 30 s
When a call is made for 100 seconds with the settings above, 60 seconds + 30 seconds + 10 seconds =
$2.00 + $0.00 × 2 = $2.00
* If 0 is set to Unit Charge, the fixed rate specified in Flat Charge setting will be applied.

Whether to apply the automatic call charge calculation to incoming calls from external numbers can be
specified.
