Installing an SSC NTM400 Software daughterboard and NTDK57
(NT_REM) remote security device
CAUTION WITH ESDS DEVICES
Static electricity can damage circuit cards. Wear an
antistatic wrist strap when handling circuit cards or any of
their components.
1 Unpack the NTDK20 SSC, and set it aside on a clean surface.
2 Install the NTM400 Software daughterboard in the appropriate connector,
as shown in Figure 84 on
3 Press firmly on the standoffs to ensure that the NTM400 Software
daughterboard is secured to the SSC.
4 Insert the NTDK57 (NT_REM) Security Device with NT_REM facing out.
See Figure 84 on
5 Repeat procedure for each SSC.
Follow Procedure 57 to add a 100BaseT daughterboard (dual port) to an SSC.
