Removing The Source Enclosure From The Mass Spectrometer - Waters TRIZAIC UPLC System Manual

To prepare the instrument:
1. Ensure the mass spectrometer is in Standby mode.
• For a Xevo TQ, in the MassLynx Tune window, click Standby
• For mass spectrometers other than the Xevo TQ, in the MassLynx
Tune window, click Source Standby
2. Set the source temperature to 30 °C.
3. Wait 30 minutes, to allow the source to cool.
The API gas flow stops automatically when you click Source
