RFI is caused by the tendency of plug voltage to rise and fall rapidly once the spark plug is fired. These alternating
currents are suppressed by the use of resistor spark plugs and resistor spark plug wires.
The creation of RFI can distrupt the the micro-processors within the CDI box and cause ignition misfiring. For
these reasons it is extremely important that Polaris Domestic Engines utilize the PVL spark plug wires and resistor
spark plugs.
