2.6.1.3 ZenFit connection technology

To tighten the fitting:
1.
Thread the fitting into the port until the tip contacts the bottom of the port.
2.
Tighten the fitting between 30 and 45 degrees (90 degrees max).
Note:
Re-installed fittings require a smaller tightening angle. Each reuse requires the
same amount of torque.
Requirement:
detail port, you must replace the valve. (The valve is most likely damaged because too
much torque was applied to the fitting, causing a burr to form inside the port.)
Tips:
• Before installing ZenFit tubing use the port gauge to verify port compatibility with the
valves (see
• Remove the knob from the screw and re-orient it, aligning the slot in the knob to a
convenient reference position, such as the 6 o'clock position.
• If the space around the fitting is limited, you can remove the knob after tightening the
fitting.
