SPI Triggering and Serial Decode
The following section describes trigger and decoding for SPI and is organized as
Follows: 'Setup for SPI Signals', 'SPI Triggering' and 'SPI Decode'.
Setup for SPI Signals
Setting the SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) signal includes two steps: Connecting the
CLK, MISO, MOSI and CS signals to oscilloscope; specifying the parameters of each
input signal.
1.
Press the Decode key to enter the DECODE function menu.
2.
Press the Decode softkey and select the desired decoder (Decode1 or Decode2).
3.
Press Protocol softkey and then select SPI by turning Universal Knob.
4.
Press Signal softkey to enter the SIGNAL menu as Figure 40 shows.

Press the CLK softkey to enter CLK menu.
Press the CLK softkey to select the channel that is connected to the SPI clock
signal.
Press the Threshold softkey to set the SPI clock signal threshold voltage level
by Universal Knob. The threshold voltage level is for decoding, and it will be
regarded as the trigger voltage level when setting the trigger type to serial.
Press the Edge Select softkey to set whether the oscilloscope will sample at the
clock signal rising edge or falling edge.
Press
softkey to return previous menu.
