IIC Trigger and Serial Decode

The following section describes trigger and decoding for the IIC bus and is organized
as follows: 'Setup for IIC Signals', 'IIC Triggering' and 'IIC Decode'.

Setup for IIC Signals

Setting the IIC (Inter-IC bus) signal includes two steps: Connecting the serial data
signal (SDA) and serial clock signal (SCK) to oscilloscope, specifying the threshold
voltage of each input signal.
1. Press Decode key to enter the DECODE function menu as Figure 35 shows.
2. Press the Decode softkey and select the desired slot (Decode1 or Decode2).
3. Press Protocol softkey and then select IIC by turning Universal Knob.
4. Press Signal softkey to enter the SIGNAL menu as Figure 36 shows.
5. Set SCL (IIC's clock signal):

Press SCL softkey to select the channel that is connected to the IIC clock signal.
Press first Threshold softkey to set the IIC clock signal threshold voltage level by
the Universal Knob. The threshold voltage level is for decoding, and it will be
regarded as the trigger voltage level when set the trigger type to serial.
Press SDA to select the channel that is connected to the IIC data signal.
Press the second Threshold softkey to select the IIC data signal threshold
voltage and then set the level by using the Universal Knob. The threshold voltage
level is for decoding, and it will be regarded as the trigger voltage level when the
