Note: Loading and unloading plates during a run is supported by QIAcuity Eight and QIAcuity
Four. To learn more about continuous loading and unloading, refer to Continuous loading and
unloading of plates.
To load a tray and to start a run, follow these steps:
1. To eject a tray, press the physical button on the instrument or tap Eject Tray on the
touchscreen.
Note: In QIAcuity Eight, you can select to eject the upper or lower tray from the list located
below the panes.
2. Place a plate in one of the slots of the ejected tray. Ensure that the plate seal of the plate is
intact and not overlapping to the sides more than 1 mm. Repeat this step until all plates are
loaded to the tray.
