3. Select your preferred access point from the Available networks list.
Details of the selected network are shown on the right side of the list.
4. If the network requires a password, enter the password in the Password field using the on-
screen keyboard.
5. Tap Connect. The QIAcuity connects to the select network.
Note: If you entered an incorrect password, an error message appears after an unsuccessful
connection attempt. If this occurs, re-enter the correct password in the Password field.
Configuring the connection to the QIAcuity Software Suite in the QIAcuity instrument
software
The QIAcuity instrument needs to be connected to the QIAcuity Software Suite to enable the
exchange of data. To establish a connection, the instrument and the device in which the QIAcuity
Software Suite is running must be connected to the same network.
Note: A plate run can only be performed if the QIAcuity Software Suite is connected to the
instrument through a network or direct cable connection to the QIAcuity Software Suite server.
To connect the instrument to the QIAcuity Software Suite:
1. On the Home screen, tap Configuration.
2. Tap the Software Suite tab.
