2D Scatterplot view with 2 Common thresholds.
Assigning partitions to a group using free hand (Lasso mode)
The user can select partition measurement dots with a free hand mode, so that he can use a more
precise
way
to
assign
partitions
to
the
group
they
should
belong
to.
The lasso is available in menu above the diagram on hover. When the user clicks lasso icon (
)
he can first select the group (++, +-, -+ or --) to which partitions should be assigned using the free
hand mode. The points selection is additive. User can add points to the group he selected. If user
assigns one group to a point and afterwards assigns another one, the last one is valid.
After selecting points by lasso, the user can set thresholds only by clicking the auto-threshold icon.
Clicking this icon reactivates the threshold behavior. The user can use either the lasso mode or
threshold setting. A combination of both is not possible. When thresholds are changed and not
confirmed by clicking the Recalculate button, and if some partitions are selected through lasso mode
and recalculated, the threshold values are ignored.
Note: Lasso selection in 2D Scatterplot affects also histogram and 1D Scatterplots views. For details
refer to chapters Histogram tab for absolute quantification and 1D Scatterplot tab for absolute
quantification.
