Description
• RTP – Real Time Protocol. RTP is supported by the VBrick
9000 Series decoder.
• MPEG2TS – MPEG-2 Transport Stream. Used with KLV
and FEC.
• RTMP – Real Time Messaging Protocol. This is the
multimedia streaming protocol used in Adobe Flash.
• SMOOTH – Smooth Streaming Transport Type is an IIS
Media Services extension that enables adaptive streaming of
media to clients over HTTP.
Select video rate (defined on Encoder Configuration > Video
Input page) from dropdown list.
SMOOTH only. Select Video Rate. Note the following:
• In this release only one Video Rate is available.
• All Video Rate(s) included in the Smooth Stream must have
the same Frame Rate and IDR.
• The IDR Frame Interval (on the Encoder Configuration >
Video page) for rates assigned for Smooth Streaming streams
must be 1 or 2 seconds (not zero).
Select audio rate (defined on Encoder Configuration > Audio
Input page) from dropdown list.
SMOOTH only. Select Audio Rate.
Read-only. Shows the estimated bit rate with the configured
options. The actual bit rate will vary based on the content.
Enables closed captioning. Note: You will not be able to enable
closed captioning and encryption on the same stream. Closed
captions are sent as SEI NALs for compatibility with many
standard video players and they are supported for all stream
types except for Smooth Streaming. When enabled on RTMP
streams, the captions are sent both as SEI NALs and as
onCaptionInfo Flash metadata packets for compatibility with
many Flash based players. Note: You will not be able to enable
closed captioning and encryption on the same stream.
