Description
Select COM1 or COM2 from the dropdown. When you enable or
disable COM1 Passthrough, the unit will save and reboot. When
COM1 Passthrough is enabled, the management port and CLI are not
available.
Used to enable/disable Passthrough. You must be the Active Editor
to enter a Passthrough state. Three states are possible:
• Disabled – The encoder will neither initiate nor respond to
Passthrough setup requests.
• Responder – In this case the encoder will accept a connection
request (up to 64 connection requests).
• Initiator – In this case it will continuously attempt to
automatically initiate a Passthrough connection to the remote
destination. This mode also offers metadata destination options.
Describes the current status of a Passthrough connection, including
error conditions, if any. Refer to the Monitor > Monitor the Network
page. This will display "Active" if in Passthrough mode.
Description
Responder – In this case the encoder will accept a connection
request (up to 64 connection requests).
Read-only. COM2 Passthrough will accept connections on port
4439. COM1 uses port 4414. These values cannot be edited.
