You can create and run scripts to activate certain functions on a VBrick encoder. There are
multiple ways to run scripts on an encoder.
• You can run scripts for test purposes using the

The VBrick encoder can be set up to use serial (COM) Pins 7 and 8 as input events to trigger
the encoder to run scripts. The script files execute a subset of the CLI commands (

Note: The event pins and script file names differ from those on earlier 7000 Series
encoders. The script file names cannot be changed.
