24) Remove retaining plate (1) and first reverse brake (2).
(4-friction plates, 4 separator plates and 2 cushion plates)
25) Remove side bearing housing (1) mounting bolts and then re-
move housing (1).

26) Remove lower cover mounting bolts and then remove lower
cover (1).
CAUTION:
27) Remove differential assembly (1).
Remove sealing material attached on mating surface
of lower cover completely.
Use care so that none of sealing material remains in-
side.
