13) Remove 5 screws (1) and take off left case plate (2), and then
remove bearing set shim (3).
14) Remove reverse shaft bolt (1) with washer.
15) Remove 9 case bolts (2) from outside and another 5 from
clutch housing side.
16) Tapping case flanges with plastic hammer and remove left
case (3).
17) Remove reverse gear shift lever bolts (1) and reverse gear
shift lever (2).
18) Pull out reverse gear shaft (3) with washer, then take off re-
verse idler gear (4).
19) Pull out 5th & reverse gear shift guide shaft (5) together with
5th & reverse gear shift shaft (6).
NOTE:
When removing 5th & reverse gear shift shaft and guide
shaft, push up high speed gear shift shaft and shift it to
4th to facilitate removal of 5th & reverse shifter.
20) Tapping input shaft end with plastic hammer, push it out as as-
sembly from right case (1) a little, then take out input shaft as-
sembly (2), counter shaft assembly, (3), high speed gear shift
shaft (4) and low speed gear shift shaft (5) all at once.
