Ready / Not Ready; Definitions View - Xerox CiPress 325 Customer Help Information

Operating the CiPress User Interface
• Fast Feed Line - an advance at whatever speed the system is currently set up to print
at. The fast feed is activated by pressing and releasing Fast Feed Line. To stop the
fast feed advance, press and release Fast Feed Line.

Ready / Not Ready

The controls for whether or not the CiPress is ready to accept jobs are located on the
Command Button Bar. The CiPress status appears to the right of the PPE state area.
Ready for jobs - Select the Start button to make the CiPress ready to accept jobs. The
state of the CiPress changes to Ready (green background) in the status area.
Not ready for jobs - Select the Stop button to prevent the CiPress from printing jobs.
The state of the CiPress changes to Not Ready (yellow background) in the status area.
Note
When changing from Not Ready to Ready, the system performs a check of the web. Wait
about 45 seconds before continuing to use the Touch Screen after selecting Ready.

Definitions View

When you select the Definitions view on the main screen, the user area displays the
controls that allow an Advanced or Key Operator to create and / or edit the definitions,
or menu selections, available in the Run view for:
• Paper
• Applications
• Print Lines
