The application name appears on the second line of the Application menu button
and becomes the current Application selection.
Note
An event documenting the change is logged in the Run view Event Log Table.
Job Source Selection
You can choose one of two settings for the job source:
• FreeFlow Print Server - Enables jobs to be received from the FreeFlow Print Server.
This is the typical setting.
• Internal (Test Print) - Places the CiPress into a state where it can print test patterns.
Note
The Job Source selection is only available when the system is offline (which also implies
that the system must be cycled down as well).
Changing the Job Source Selection
The Job Source can only be changed in the Run view when the system is offline.
1. In the Run view, select the down-ward arrow on the Job Source menu.
The job source selections display.
2. Select a job source.
The selected job source appears on the second line of the Job Source menu button
and becomes the current selection.
Online / Offline Selection
To change between Online and Offline, you select the button and toggle between the
two options.
Note
Notice that the button turns blue when the function is enabled and the button reads
Online. Online means the CiPress is ready to accept jobs and the Paper, Application,
and Job Source selections become unavailable.
Switch the system to Offline before changing any of these settings:
• Paper
• Application
• Job Source
• Print Line
• Offset
Note
You must first select the Stop button before taking the CiPress offline to change settings.
