Attention
The Print Head must meet both DaysAtTemp and kgOfInk NVM value requirements
to be eligible for warranty.

Submit Call for Assistance

Remove the identified Print Head and place it on a clean and stable surface. Then
install a new Print Head. See the
appropriate Marking Tower. Follow the complete respective Print Head replacement
procedure.

Set NVM ID 32345 to a value of 1.
37.
Print the PrintHeadReg_500fpm test pattern.
38.
Restore NVM ID 32345 to the default value of 0.
39.
At the post-processing device, remove two copies of the test pattern printed on
the web for analysis.

Analyze the test pattern print sample.
Result
No image quality defects
are visible.
The same PBU and Print
Head that showed an image
quality defect still shows
the same issue.

Retain the removed Print Head for future use. Used Print
Heads have a very long shelf-life and should not be arbitrarily
returned to Xerox.
