Operating the CiPress User Interface
The Diagnostics Home Screen is the opening screen in the Diagnostics view. In addition
to displaying various diagnostic routines, the Diagnostics Home Screen is also comprised
of control buttons and a message area:

Description
Stops all diagnostics routines and system
functions immediately. This button is always
available even when routines are running.
Note
This Stop button is different from the Stop
button in the command button bar at the
bottom of the screen.
This button is only accessible to Xerox service
personnel. Logged in as a Key Operator, the
system is always in Intrusive mode when
accessing the Diagnostics view.
Provides a means for returning to the
Diagnostics Home Screen from within the
Diagnostics view.
Note
When you access the Diagnostics view, a house
is added to the standard Diagnostics view icon.
Closes the Diagnostics view and opens the Run
view.
Closes the Diagnostics view and opens the Run
view.
Note
Exiting Diagnostics by selecting this button will
stop and close all routines.
Allows temporary concealing of a portion of
the Diagnostics screen by raising a 'window
shade' to reveal the print line.
In the default position, the button arrow points
up and the full Diagnostics screen displays.
Selecting the button places the window shade
in the up position to display the print line, and
the arrow on the button changes to point down.
Note
To conceal the print line, select the button when
the arrow faces down.
